For his work entitled «Photocontrol of genes, biological membranes, micro- and macrofluidic systems», Antoine DIGUET received the 3rd prize in the DSM Science & Technology Awards (South) 2011. The final took place in Interlaken (Switzerland) June 20th and 21th 2011.
After an oral presentation of the research work of the twelve selected candidates, the international jury, composed of scientists from the academic field and from DSM company, nominated three winners :
1st prize : Armelle CORPET (Institut Curie, advisor: Prof. Geneviève ALMOUZNI)
2nd prize : Stefan RADL (Graz University, Austria, advisor: Prof. Johannes KHINAST)
3rd prize : Antoine DIGUET (Ecole Normale Supérieure, advisor: Prof Damien BAIGL)

They are granted for outstanding PhD research by doctoral students from Switzerland, which is the home base of DSM nutritional Products, and the neighboring regions of Austria, Northern France and Southern Germany, in fields of chemistry, biology and physical chemistry.
